Individualized Academic Curriculum

Our teachers adapt coursework so that it suits each student’s aptitudes, interests, and needs. Rather than teaching a one-size-fits-all course, we have an array of texts for each subject. Additionally, teachers work with students to identify the most appropriate starting point. Regular assessment provides each teacher the opportunity to make adjustments as necessary. Serving Grades k through 12 and ages 4 to 22.

Community Based Instructions (CBI)

Education takes place in the classroom, in our life skills center and in the larger community, There our students spend time learning many of the skills necessary for independent living , safely crossing the street, riding the bus ,waiting in line at the bank or store. We have developed partnerships with several community organizations as a means of enhancing these instructions.
